Join us for ballet beneath the stars as we kick off our 2025 season, with three world premieres, in the distinctive wild surrounds of the Quarry Amphitheatre. From dance drawing on rich indigenous history to neo-classical pieces en-pointe, there are few nights at the ballet as unique as this.

If you have tickets in the grassed area, low concert/beach chairs are permitted, as well as blankets and cushions. Please note: High back chairs, full height deck chairs, and seats wider than 52cm will not be permitted into the amphitheatre.
If your tickets are in the chair area, seating will be provided – please do not bring chairs but you’re still welcome to bring blankets or cushions.

Yes! Feel free to bring a delicious picnic with you - a small esky is allowed. The venue is BYO (spike style wine holders are not permitted).
Food and beverages are also available from Limestone Cafe, located at the Quarry. We will add the link to their menu once it becomes available.

The Quarry Amphitheatre is located at 1 Waldron Drive, City Beach – a mere 17-minute drive from the Perth CBD. There are 200 parking bays available with overflow parking nearby on Oceanic Drive.
There are bus stops along Oceanic Drive that are a short walk (~600m) to the venue. Public transport from the Quarry ends at 10.30pm in the summer. Plan your journey with Transperth on their website or call their info line 13 62 13.

We’d suggest insect repellent and as Quarry Amphitheatre is an outdoor venue, which can get chilly after the sun goes down, something warm to wear or a blanket. The dress code for Ballet at the Quarry is casual and comfortable.

Quarry Amphitheatre is a non-smoking venue. Cameras, recording equipment, umbrellas, and mosquito coils are not permitted.
High back chairs, full height deck chairs, and seats wider than 52cm will not be permitted into the amphitheatre.

Yes! The Quarry Amphitheatre has a number of ACROD parking bays located close to the entrance. Toilet facilities at the venue are wheelchair accessible. Please ensure you let us know any access needs at the time of booking so we can ensure your experience is smooth on the night.

* Gates open at 6.30pm.
* Dancer’s warm up on stage from 7:00pm.
* Performance commences at 8:00pm and will run for approximately one hour and 30 minutes.
