CALL OUT FOR YOUNG ASPIRING DANCERS, AGED 10 YEARS AND ABOVE
FREE EVENT
West Australian Ballet is returning for another opportunity to engage with the aspiring dance community of Kalgoorlie. If you enjoy dancing, love being creative and part of a team, then join us for the audition on Friday 11 April. Successful applicants will be offered the chance to participate in a series of rehearsals over two weeks, culminating in a sharing on Thursday 24 April at Goldfields Arts Centre.
Requirements:
- Must be aged 10 years and above
- Some dance experience required, but no ballet experience required
Audition workshop:
- Audition workshop: Friday 11 April (4pm – 6:30pm)
- Audition workshop will include a chance to get-to-know our fabulous West Australian Ballet Teaching Artists, a dance class and some creative activities
- Please wear something comfortable to move in; t-shirt, leggings, tracksuit pants etc.
- Please bring some healthy snacks and a drink bottle.
- The audition will take place at Goldfields Arts Centre
Registrations:
- Registration below, this must be received by Wednesday 9 April, 12 midnight AWST
- You MUST return the two forms (Young Persons Engagement Details Form to avardy@waballet.com.au to complete your registration.
- By registering you are agreeing to the *Terms and Conditions of participating in activities by West Australian Ballet.
If you are successful, you will be required to attend the rehearsal schedule below:
- Saturday 12 April (10am-3pm), GAC
- Sunday 13 April (10am-3pm), GAC
- Monday 14 April (10am-3pm), GAC
- Tuesday 15 April (10am-3pm), GAC
- Wednesday 16 April (10am-3pm), GAC
- Thursday 17 April (10am – 3pm), GAC
- Tuesday 22 April (10am – 3pm), GAC
- Wednesday 23 April (10am – 3pm), GAC
- Thursday 24 April (10am – 3pm), GAC
