Julio Blanes

Pas De Deux Patrons Bruce & Charmaine Cameron

Julio Blanes joined West Australian Ballet’s Corps de Ballet in July 2018, and was promoted to Demi-Soloist in 2019 before being promoted to Soloist in 2021.

Blanes trained at the Cuban National Ballet School, later joining the professional company (Cuban National Ballet) and being promoted to First Soloist.

He has also toured extensively with Ballet Revolucion.

Highlights during his time at West Australian Ballet include playing Franz in Coppelia, Albrecht in Giselle, Prince Desire in The Sleeping Beauty and as a lead in Daniela Cardim's Reset.
