ARTIST

Sean was born in Darwin, Australia, but grew up in Melbourne. He was 12 when he first started dancing, starting full-time ballet training at 16. Sean was accepted into Queensland Ballet Academy's Pre-Professional Program in 2021 where he trained for two years before becoming a Young Artist at Queensland Ballet. In 2024, after a small stint with Teatrul de Balet Sibiu, he rejoined Queensland ballet as a Company Artist until moving to West Australian Ballet in 2026.

Embodying characters, sharing emotion through physical expression, and the continual challenge of technicality is why Sean finds a career in ballet so fulfilling to pursue. It allows him to ceaselessly strive for a deeper understanding of art and human movement.
