Ruben Flynn-Kann

Ruben Flynn-Kann started dance training when he was 10 at Noosa Professional Dance Academy in Queensland and was accepted into the ABS at the age of 15. Through the Youth American Grand Prix, Ruben was offered a place at the Royal Ballet Summer School in London and attended the Elmhurst Ballet Summer school in Birmingham also before being offered a fulltime position at Elmhurst Ballet School where he commenced training the following year. During his final year at Elmhurst, Ruben performed at Sadler’s Wells and The Barbican Centre, London, as well as walk on roles with the Birmingham Royal Ballet. Ruben returned home in March 2020 as Europe went into lockdown and continued training at NPDA and, most recently, with Queensland National Ballet in Brisbane.

Ruben joined West Australian Ballet's Corps de Ballet in 2021.
