Corps De Ballet
Brent Carson
Brent attended his first ballet class at the age of three. From there he developed a love for all styles of dance including tap, jazz and especially classical ballet.
At the age of 13 Brent was accepted into the specialist classical ballet stream of John Curtin College of the Arts. After completing grade 11, Brent was successful in auditioning for the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts.
Brent commenced full time training at WAAPA in 2017 concreting his love of classical ballet and desire for a professional career.
In 2019 Brent earned a commendation in the Linley Wilson Scholarship at the Royal Academy of Dance festival, while also graduating with a Bachelor of Arts (Dance). In his final semester of training Brent was lucky enough to be offered a professional secondment with West Australian Ballet for the seasons of Giselle and ALICE (in wonderland).
Brent joined West Australian Ballet in 2020, and was promoted to Corps de Ballet in 2022.
