Benjamin Anderson

Benjamin Anderson was born in Sydney and started ballet training at age 11 with Newcastle Ballet Theatre. He then joined Level 4 at The Australian Ballet School in 2016 and was one of the first boarding students, moving from Lake Macquarie NSW to Melbourne.

Whilst at the School he received two Encouragement Awards, was a Student Leader and performed with The Australian Ballet in Graeme Murphy's "Nutcracker - The Story of Clara". Ben is passionate about working with choreographers, loves learning complex Pas-de-deux and aspires to perform in Theatres around the world.

In his spare time he enjoys supporting Richmond in the AFL, watching movies and eating copious amounts of food.

Benjamin joined West Australian Ballet as a Young Artist in 2022 and was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2023.
