Benjamin Anderson

Born in Sydney, Benjamin began his ballet training at the age of 11 with Newcastle Ballet Theatre. He later completed his formal training at The Australian Ballet School, graduating with a Graduate Diploma of Classical Ballet.

In 2022, Benjamin joined West Australian Ballet as a Young Artist, supported by The Simon Lee Foundation, before being promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2023.

Since joining the Company, Benjamin’s performance highlights include the roles of Paris in Romeo and Juliet, Drosselmeyer in The Nutcracker, and John Hampshire in Swan Lake. He has a passion for intricate and complex pas de deux in both classical and contemporary works and enjoys the creative process of character development.

Offstage, Benjamin has a deep appreciation for music, continually expanding his collection, and loves spending time cooking and exploring new cuisines.
