Dracula Audition – Boys aged 7 to 14


West Australian Ballet has an exciting opportunity for young male performers to be involved in the upcoming season of Dracula at His Majesty’s Theatre (6 – 22 September 2018). Dracula is West Australian Ballet’s brand new production choreographed by Krzysztof Pastor. One of the world’s most highly awarded choreographers with over 50 ballets to his name Krzysztof is Artistic Director of both the Polish and Lithuanian National Ballet Companies, and former choreographer at Dutch National Ballet.


We require boys who are confident stage performers, dance experience is a benefit but not necessary. Successful candidates must be available for all rehearsals and performances as indicated at the end of this page. Successful candidates will be remunerated for rehearsal and performances in accordance with industry rates. All rehearsals are compulsory however the performances will be divided amongst multiple casts.



  • Maximum 150cm in height.
  • Must be aged between 7 – 14 years.
  • All applicants must register via Trybooking by 5pm Wednesday 18 July (AWST).


Audition Details:

4.00pm – 6.00pm, Wednesday 25 July 2018.

Each audition will take approximately 45 minutes, participants’ scheduled audition time will be confirmed via email once registrations close.

Please wear dance appropriate clothes.

Late registrations will not be accepted. Your Trybooking ticket is your confirmation that your application has been received. Your exact audition time will be sent to you via email on Friday 20 July.
