West Australian Ballet (based in Maylands, Perth, Australia) is a leading State Flagship Company, performing a dynamic and extensive series of ballet and contemporary dance works and programs in metropolitan Perth and regional Australia.
West Australian Ballet (WAB) Artistic Administrator (AA) Hilary McKenna has an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly efficient individual to join the company on a part time basis two days per week as an Artistic Coordinator (AC) whose primary role will be to provide support to and enhance the effectiveness of, the AA by providing business, administration, information and communications support.
The AC role will work closely with the AA to provide high-level administrative support on a range of activities supporting the administration, logistics and coordination of contracting company creatives (including seasonal creative teams and company dancers), venues, orchestras and other artistic engagements as well as provide development maintenance and support of scheduling of the company’s annual program of activities, performances, and organising visits of international and national creative guests.
Aspects of this position will require management of personal information of WAB employees and therefore require an administrator with a high degree of discretion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
