West Australian Ballet is currently looking for one pre-professional/professional female dancer to join its 2018 Young Artist Scholarship Program.
West Australian Ballet provides a small group of talented young dancers the opportunity to receive a Young Artist Scholarship every year, and an opportunity is currently open for the 2018 calendar year.
These scholarships provide aspiring dancers with an immersive one year training experience. Working with West Australian Ballet, Young Artists refine technique, access performance opportunities and receive mentorship from company dancers and artistic staff.
Young Artists work alongside members of the company and are able to experience first-hand, life in a professional ballet company, working with Choreographers, Repetiteurs, WAB’s Artistic Staff and guest teachers.
Auditions are arranged by invitation only.
To be considered for an opportunity to audition for a position in 2018 or 2019, please email West Australian Ballet’s Ballet Master, Craig Lord-Sole.
In your email application, please include:
- Cover letter
- Link to dropbox or other online photographs
- Link to online footage of a Classical Variation.
Please state ‘your name’ and ‘Young Artist Application’ in the subject line and send to email@example.com
