Born in New Zealand, Vida trained with Pauline Germon, Thames Hauraki Ballet Theatre and Melinda Palmer, Mount Eden Ballet Academy before moving to Sydney at the age of 14. Vida was awarded a full-time training scholarship at Tanya Pearson Classical Coaching Academy with many teachers including Tanya Pearson and Lucinda Dunn.


Vida’s international achievements include winning the Gold Medal at the Genee Competition 2014, highest class placement in New York City’s American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive 2014, Youth America Grand Prix Finalist 2015 and winning the Alana Haines Award 2015


Australian achievements include: Finalist RAD NSW Bursary 2013, Guest Artist Isobel Anderson Award 2015 and dancing Sugar Plum Fairy in the Sydney City Youth Ballet’s “Nutcracker” 2014.


In 2015, at the age of 17, Vida joined the West Australian Ballet as a Young Artist.


Highlights with the company include dancing Clara in “The Nutcracker” 2016, Christopher Hill’s “The Clearest Light” and Girlfriends in “Don Quixote” 2017.


In her spare time, Vida enjoys art, cooking and her friendships.


Vida was promoted to the Corps de Ballet in 2017 and is thrilled to be part of such a dynamic company.
