Born in South India, Eka and her family moved to Melbourne, Australia in 2001 when she was 4 years old.
She began dancing at the National Theatre Ballet School where she stayed for the next 15 years, training under the directorship of Beverly Jane Fry and completing her Advanced Diploma in Dance.
She had the privilege of dancing many soloist and principal roles during her time there in ballets including: Cinderella, La Sylphide, Les Sylphide, Paquita, Giselle, Swan Lake, Nutcracker, Raymonda, La Corsaire and Coppelia.
Not only did she perform classical roles, but she also had the opportunity to work with and perform many award-winning contemporary choreographers.

Eka is very excited to join West Australian Ballet and cannot wait for the future!
