Asja is a Young Artist with the West Australian Ballet.

 

Born in Auckland, New Zealand. Asja was accepted into The Australian Ballet School at nine years of age and trained with the school for a further nine years, graduating in 2016.

 

Asja‘s professional experience before joining West Australian Ballet includes performing in The Australian Ballet’s Regional Tour of Giselle and Michael Pink’s Peter Pan with Ballets de France.

 

Asja’s major accomplishment is graduating The Australian Ballet school with a Graduate Diploma in Classical Dance.

 

Her career highlight was performing the principal role in Ray Powell’s One in Five.

 

Asja’s repertoire also includes the pas de deux in Stanton Welch’s A Time to Dance, Petal Miller-Ashmole’s The Snow Queen and Marius Petipa’s Raymonda Grand Pas.

 

Asja is thrilled to be a Young Artist with West Australian Ballet and is very grateful to have had memorable performance opportunities with the company, such as; La Sylphide, Jack Whiter’s Moonlight and Edward Popes’s Sink or Swim.

 

Asja spends most of her weekend outdoors by the beach or park and always enjoys the company of her friends and family.
