Alessio Scognamiglio

Scognamiglio stared ballet at the age of 9 in Casalnuovo di Napoli Academia Vesuviana Della Danza with Rosalba Cesare. At the age of 15 he moved to Princess Grace Academy, later graduating from there. He has worked with Jean Christophe Maiilot and danced the role of Carabosse in The Sleeping Beauty. With Mauro de Candia he danced Dying Swan.


Since joining WA Ballet in July 2013 Scognamiglio has danced the role of Alain in Marc Ribaud’s La Fille mal Gardèe and The Prince in Snow White as well as dancing in Forsythe’s Steptext.


In his free time Scognamiglio enjoys hanging out with friends, fishing and meditating.
