School Holiday Workshops are a fantastic activity for young dancers to keep dancing over the holidays and to make new friends. Our specialist teaching artists will guide the students through a fun and creative one hour ballet class in the studios at West Australian Ballet Centre.

Each session consists of a ballet workshop with one of our specialist teaching artists and time spent in the studio watching our company dancers at work. Parents may watch or help themselves to tea and coffee in our heritage foyer. Please note, this is not a “drop off & leave activity. Parents or guardians must stay on premises whilst their child is in the building.

Designed to complement student’s regular studio classes, the Masterclass Program is a fantastic way for talented young dance students to take their dancing to the next level and gain a deeper connection with WA’s ballet company. Entry to the program is by audition, held in February each year. Classes are taught by WAB’s artistic staff, dancers and international guest artists and are accompanied by exclusive behind-the-scenes activities including watching rehearsals and Q&A’s with special guests.

Entry into the program is by audition only. Auditions have closed for 2017. Auditions for the 2018 Masterclass Program will be held in early 2018.
