Meg Parry

Meg was born in Brisbane Australia firstly studying at Danceworks and later graduating from Queensland Dance School of Excellence and West Australian Academy of Performing Arts.

Joining West Australian Ballet as a Young Artist and working her way up to a Demi-Soloist ranks, Meg was a much loved performer dedicating over 10 years of her career to West Australian Ballet.  Meg joined Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal in 2018 and has recently moved back to Perth.

Her career highlights include the Evil Queen in Harangozo’s Snow White, Swanhilda in Horsman’s Coppelia, Juliet in Youri Vamos’s Romeo and Juliet, Peasant Pas ‘Les Amis’ in Ivan Cavallari’s staging of Giselle.

Meg developed her love teaching whilst still dancing at WAB many years ago. She loves seeing the joy and making everyone sweat during her classes. But most of all Meg loves to see the determination and improvements each class and the delighted faces whenever something previously ‘difficult’ is achieved!
