Evelyn began dancing at age two with West Coast Dance. She studied R.A.D. classical ballet and C.S.T.D. jazz, tap and acrobatics at Gail Meade Performing Arts Centre. Throughout the years Evelyn competed in numerous competitions with some of the highlights being awarded the Joan Stacey Scholarship at the West Australian R.A.D. Festival (2013 – 2015) and the Linley Wilson Scholarship at the same Festival (2016 – 2017), being the WA representative for the RAD Bursary in 2013, attained the prestigious RAD Solo Seal Award in 2015 and was the recipient of the ECU Paulette Carson Scholarship in 2017. Evelyn’s greatest achievement to date was being one of 12 Finalists at the Genée International Ballet Competition in 2016. Evelyn was accepted in to WAAPA in 2015 and completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree (Performing Arts – Dance) in 2017. Evelyn toured Europe for three months taking company classes and attended the ART of Summer Intensive Zurich 2017 learning from many choreographers and company directors. A teacher, coach and choreographer for many years, Evelyn is now working for a number of dance schools throughout the metropolitan area and has been a part of the WAB as a Professional Teaching Artist since 2018.
