Getting into the Christmas spirit

In celebration of The Nutcracker and some of the most beautiful buildings in Perth, we’ve teamed up with Cathedral Square and The State Buildings to bring you a whole host of Nutcracker inspired activities on Saturday 5 November. All activities will take place within the Cathedral Square Plaza and surrounding buildings. Storytime in Postal Hall (State Buildings)
10:00am – 11:00am (recommended 4 – 6 Years old)

Our youngest guests are invited to Postal Hall to sit beside the Christmas tree to listen to a traditional version of The Nutcracker story. As the story draws to a close WAB’s professional teaching artists will teach some simple movement sequences to the children. We have also arranged a special box to deliver letters to Santa, so be sure to finish the experience by writing down your Christmas wishes.

The Nutcracker Dance Workshop in Burt Memorial Hall

12:30pm – 1:30pm (10 – 12 Years old)
(Free activity. Booking essential)
Join us for a Nutcracker inspired Dance Workshop in the beautiful Burt Memorial Hall taught by West Australian Ballet’s professional teaching artists. This is a short ballet class followed by learning excerpts from the WAB’s brand new production of  The Nutcracker and is set to delight participants. Places are limited click here to secure your free position.
