Stephanie Sahlgren

 

Born in Copenhagen, Stephanie graduated from the Royal Danish Ballet School in Denmark before joining the Royal Danish Ballet in 2008 and West Australian Ballet in 2013. Throughout her career, she has worked with a range of notable choreographers including Ib Anderson, Jiri Kylian, John Neumeyer, Johan Kobborg, Nikolaj Hubbe and Christopher Weeldon. To date, her career highlights include the role of Alina in Wayne Mcgregors Chroma and dancing the soloist girl in Johan Kobborg’s Salut. In 2008 Stephanie was the recipient of the National Danish Bank Yearly Scholarship, an award she recieved for a second time in 2009. In 2012 Stephanie was the winner of the Danish poledance championship.
