Meg Parry

 

Born in Brisbane, Australia, Meg began her training at The Dance Works in Brisbane and then continued her training at Queensland Dance School of Excellence. In 2004 Meg was accepted into Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), to continue her ballet training.

 

In 2008 Meg joined West Australian Ballet as a young artist and at the end of that year was promoted to a full time artist for the 2009 season.

 

Career highlights include dancing Tinkerbell in Peter Pan, Girlfriends from Don Quixote, Peasant Pas de deux in Giselle and Evil Queen in Snow White and the 7 Dwarfs as well as working with choreographers such as Timothy O”Donnell, Cass Mortimer Eipper and Ivan Cavallri.

 

In her spare time Meg enjoys reading books and spending time with her cat, Ruby.

 

Meg was promoted to Demi Soloist in 2014
