Giving assists the Company in three key areas:
West Australian Ballet, like performing arts companies the world over, can only ever be as dynamic as the productions they are able to present. Our company strives to produce a uniquely Western Australian ballet experience by taking our audiences on an artistic journey which includes new repertoire, and fresh stagings of ballet classics. Each of these ballet adventures costs well in excess of our box office receipts, and can only be achieved with your generous support.
Our most precious assets are our outstanding dancers. Each dancer represents years of training and a lifelong commitment to their art. Help us to care for them and achieve their very best by providing an array of services to keep them fit, healthy, and always on their toes!
Aspiring young dancers are our ‘cygnets’. With the right training, mentoring and stage experience, they will develop into beautiful swans, destined to grace our stage. Your donation will help to provide our young dancers with the resources and experience to enter a professional company and for the world of dance to flourish within our state.

HELP US BRING A ROMANTIC MASTERPIECE TO LIFE – BECOME A LA FILLE MAL GARDÉE CAMPIONE!
Each year, a group of visionary individuals come together to create a new work for West Australian Ballet. This group are called the “Campione” and through their generosity and commitment to ballet repertoire, we are able to stage a brand new production including choreography, sets and costumes.
You can become a West Australian Ballet Campione with your donation of $1,000, specifically designated to the set and costumes for a fabulous new production of La Fille mal gardée to be premiered in September 2014. The production will cost in the vicinity of $700,000 to build, and your Campione donation will enable the creative team to fulfill their artistic vision.
Your gift of $1,000 or more to become a West Australian Ballet Campione will be recognised in the following ways:
- You will be thanked at a special function on stage during the La Fille mal gardée season in September 2014;
- You will be acknowledged in the La Fille mal gardée souvenir programme as a Campione; and
- Receive the privileges of West Australian Ballet’s donor programme, the Ballet Circle.

THE KIRA BOUSLOFF BEQUEST CIRCLE – A LASTING LEGACY
In 1952 the West Australian Ballet was established by Mme Kira Bousloff. Remembering West Australian Ballet in your will ensures that ballet will continue to flourish in Western Australia and beyond. An endowment can be named in honour of you or a loved one – a special memory and a lasting relationship with West Australian Ballet.
If you are considering supporting the West Australian Ballet with a bequest, we encourage you to contact us for a confidential conversation. Please contact Catherine Henwood, Philanthropy Manager on (08) 9214 0707.
YOU CAN STILL BUY A BRICK!
West Australian Ballet is now settled into the exciting new West Australian Ballet Centre in Maylands, however it isn’t too late to become a special part of this project and have your name ‘up in lights’.
With a gift of just $500, your name will be featured on a special wall featured in the building, and your contribution will personally give you pride of place in this historic development for the West Australian Ballet.
Funds raised from the sale of ‘bricks’ will ensure that this stunning art deco building is a vibrant, artistic home for talented dancers and our wider communities.
